About this position:

My Client is looking for an Electronics Design Engineers who has experience with Safety Standards experience, to design, develop and test electrical systems for their machines.

Job Responsibilities:
 

• Design and Development: Contribute to the system designs and constituent modules and be responsible for hardware design, producing schematics and supervising the creation of PCB layouts. Have overall responsibility for ensuring that the resultant product(s) are compliant with all relevant directives for CE marking and CB certification (including, but not limited to product safety and EMC compliance).
• Prototyping and Testing: Develop and test electrical prototypes, conducting simulations and analyses to provide collateral in support of relevant reliability, EMC and safety standards.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs contribute to a product compliant with relevant standards, working with certification bodies as required.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test results, and certification records.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers from all disciplines, product design teams, manufacturing and clients to integrate electrical components into larger systems.

Experience Required:
 

• ??????????????Proficiency with schematic capture software (e.g., Altium Designer).
• Design of electronics employing STM32 microcontrollers, analogue sensor interfacing and motor controls
• Creation of firmware for hardware bring up and production test using C/C++
• Design of electromechanical products compliant with safety and EMC standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
