Technical Trainer

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, the Technical Trainer will be responsible for all aspects of technical training from design to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a technical training needs analysis.
- Plan and co-ordinate the approved training plan in accordance with agreed timelines.
- Ensure all technical training is prepared and delivered in compliance with EASA Part-145, and other applicable regulations.
- Provide oversight, liaison, and support of trainees and apprentices.
- Develop, implement and manage e-learning training as an effective and efficient solution to deliver training.
- Support the induction of new employees through appropriate training programmes
- Ensure accurate training records are maintained and updated in accordance with business requirements and to maintain compliance.
- Identify and propose new training opportunities to improve the performance of the business.
- Liaise with external bodies and internal stakeholders as appropriate.
- Manage the training budget to achieve maximum return on investment and expenditure.
- External & internal reporting as appropriate
Skills and Experience:
- Hold an Aircraft Engineering degree or EASA Part 66 aircraft maintenance engineer’s Cat B1/B2 licence
- A minimum of 3 years aircraft maintenance experience and having in-depth knowledge of Part 145 regulations, continuing airworthiness regulations and principles, technical planning and engineering processes.
- Proven training instruction experience in a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation or Part 147 training organisation.
- Fluent English essential.
