Project Engineer

Main Responsibilities/Duties:
- Ensuring the project meets the contracted technical & performance parameters.
- Identifying potential problems with the project, working with colleagues to develop solutions, and ensuring that they are implemented.
- Defining and liaising with engineering and design offices to ensure detailed product specifications are provided, including resource allocation.
- Working with Production and Suppliers to develop viable delivery time scales.
- Managing the timelines with the appropriate software – MS Projects.
- Managing the project budget to ensure the agreed margin is achieved using project spreadsheet.
- Processing internal orders using Sage Manufacturing.
- Maintaining data records and files for the project.
- Reporting to senior management with project updates.
- Ensuring all documentation is prepared and delivered, ranging from technical drawings and operation manuals to completed packing lists.
- Planning dispatch and shipping.
- Working alongside remote installation engineers to extract, analyze and log key system performance data to ensure the plant is properly handed over after installation and commissioning.
- Managing key relationships across a project life cycle, including supplier, client, and internal manufacturing.
- Conducting quality assurance and risk management at all stages of the project.
