Leveraging expertise in areas such as NLP, deep learning, and embodied AI, you will spearhead research initiatives and oversee the integration of advanced AI capabilities into their platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and optimisation of AI/ML models to enhance the robot’s capabilities in perception, decision-making, and autonomous functions.
  • Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for AI/ML research and deployment, ensuring alignment with industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Build robust data pipelines to support AI/ML workflows, from data collection to real-time decision-making.
  • Drive collaboration across teams to ensure seamless integration of AI technologies within the robot platform.
  • Oversee system performance in real-world applications, optimising and refining algorithms to achieve the best possible results.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration within the AI/ML team.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide clear vision and strategic direction for the AI/ML division, ensuring the team is aligned with the client’s ambitious goals.
  • Lead recruitment efforts to build a world-class AI/ML team and develop talent within the organisation.
  • Collaborate with external institutions and research bodies to stay ahead of AI/ML developments and forge valuable partnerships.
  • Represent the client’s cutting-edge AI advancements at industry conferences and forums, showcasing leadership in the field.
  • Ensure all AI/ML systems adhere to ethical and regulatory guidelines, prioritising transparency and fairness.

Expertise Required:

  • Strong foundation in AI/ML technologies, with proven experience in developing AI systems for robotics, automation, or autonomous vehicles.
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and algorithm design.
  • Leadership experience managing high-performing AI/ML teams, driving innovation, and achieving exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to foresee challenges, seize opportunities, and drive AI/ML projects forward.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a client whose work is reshaping the future of labour through humanoid robotics. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI/ML technology and want to contribute to a transformative vision for the future, we encourage you to apply.
