You will be analytical and methodical while not being afraid to take on responsibility and use your initiative.

You will have an engineering background with a particular interest in 3D printing/additive manufacturing (industry experience preferred).

Especially in the early stages, the job will require you to be flexible and get involved with all elements of the business, while there will be opportunity to cut out your own niche as the role and business develop.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Working with print preparation software to produce 3D printing builds
  • Using CAD to assist with part design
  • Consulting on 3D printing applications
  • Managing the maintenance and running of 3D printers
  • Helping to refine production processes
  • Processing orders and managing customer relations
  • Attending trade shows to promote the business
  • Assisting with production as required
  • Assisting with research on future development of business
  • Assisting with sales development

Qualifications and Skills

  • Engineering degree (minimum 2:1) additive manufacturing specialism preferred
  • Interest in and (preferably) experience of working with 3D printing
  • Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD Inventor/Fusion 360 or equivalent)
  • Highly computer literate
  • Ability to cope with ambiguity and find solutions
  • Client facing experience preferred
  • A desire to work to the highest standards with a patient approach to getting there
