We are seeking a Business Development Manager to establish our clients  Sales Division, with a primary focus on developing new and existing businesses. The role will involve selling our products and solutions to new and existing customers, primarily within integration companies, e-commerce, omnichannel, and fashion & apparel sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and increasing business with System Integrators, 3PLs, and SMEs. Key duties include building and maintaining professional business relationships, developing and implementing tactical sales plans to grow new business, providing sales forecasting, and ensuring data and information are accurately recorded within CRM software.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Achieve Sales & activity targets

 

  • Increase sales turnover in both 3PLs and SMEs – specifically within e-com,?omni-channel and fashion?& apparel sector

 

  • Respond to customer enquiries, by identifying requirements and confirming with quotes

 

  • Maintain and develop high-level sales relationships to maintain and increase market share

 

  • Ensure sales activity is tenaciously followed up (quotations, tenders, etc.)

 

  • Take responsibility for business development and sales process

 

  • Manage existing accounts within key account development process or key account management process

 

  • Provide solutions to existing and new customer base

 

  • Feedback market intelligence to the line manager regularly

 

  • Utilise CRM software for sales planning, activity reports and maintaining accurate client records

 

  • Produce monthly analysis reports through CRM

 

  • Present and deliver solutions tailored to meet customer needs, working to secure and maintain new business effectively

 

  • Prepare/complete proposals and complete IJs
Role Requirements:

            Must be willing to travel. Occasional travel abroad, regular UK travel to sites.
            Hybrid working. Primarily home-based but with regular visits to the office located in Hinckley.
            Full, clean UK driving licence
            Proficient in M365 programs.
Experience with warehouse automation systems,
Good engineering knowledge
CAD basics
