We are seeking a motivated individual to join an energetic, growing team as an Additive Manufacturing (AM) Technician, where your main responsibility will be to produce test samples and components in standard and novel alloys. You will work closely with engineers and technicians, ensuring that the work is carried out according to schedule and following the established procedures. Due to the innovative nature of the work, adaptability and proactivity will be required.


You will be based at Oxford and training will be provided where required.




  • Operate and maintain AM machines
  • Run and monitor builds on laser powder bed fusion machine
  • Clean machines between campaigns
  • Perform routine maintenance actions
  • Maintain quality records and ensure traceability
  • Work with engineers to tackle technical difficulties
  • Participate in the improvement of procedures and equipment
  • Operate post-processing equipment: sand blaster, cutting machine, sieves, hand tools
  • Keep powder stock updated
  • Communicate with suppliers
  • Maintain AM facilities to a high standard of tidiness
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed



  • Hands-on attitude
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Experience operating AM machines or other relevant equipment (e.g.: machining, laser cutting, welding, etc.)
  • Organised and able to work independently, but also to collaborate with a diverse, fast-moving team
  • Acquainted with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Flexibility to work morning/evening shift




  • Experience operating AM machines (e.g.: Renishaw, EOS, Aconity)
  • Experience or knowledge of metallurgy
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical systems
  • Health and safety, fire marshal, and/or first aid training
