Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engineering drawing and requirements approval
• Design change approval
• Creation of ISIR requirements
• Review and create technical reports
• Actively investigate and drive through component improvements as required
• Attend commodity working groups and ensure best practice is employed
• Working with Design/Engineering to develop or refine new component test standards
• Assist with implementing department strategy and standardisation of working practices
• Liaising with Suppliers, Purchasing, Design and Manufacturing departments
• Identify and resolve problems / project risks at component and vehicle level
• Define and meet quality / cost targets and manage delivery of components to support NMIP (new model implementation)
• Some overseas travel will be required
• To undertake and assist with projects as required by your line manager
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required by your line manager
