Did you know your 75 times more likely to win an Olympic Gold Medal than to win the lottery? You’ve even got a better chance of becoming the next Tim Peake and heading out to space as an astronaut?
So why do so many people still play the lottery? Well just imagine the freedom and opportunity it gives you.
Let’s take a house for example. You can design your own house from scratch so not only is it brand new and state of the art, but it’s designed exactly how you want it to make your life as stress free as possible.
As a Quality Engineer you probably wish you could win the lottery at work every day. That feeling of wanting to work in a brand-new building and to be able to design the QMS from scratch to ensure it is smooth and fit for purpose rather than clunky and retro fitted.
How would you implement a quality system if you had full responsibility and a clean slate to design from? What if you were given the opportunity to become responsible for the quality of a brand-new purpose built 1,657SQM facility overlooking the famous Silverstone Circuit?
Implementing quality systems that will help protect some of the world’s most famous racing drivers and when we’re allowed to travel again, your friends and family travelling to all corners of the globe again.
Ideally, you’ll currently be a Quality Engineer who is looking for the opportunity to spread your wings and assume more responsibility with ideas of how to implement a world class quality system.
You will become the main point of contact for customers and will be responsible for:
- Management of internal and external NCR process
- Maintenance of ASL and support audit programme
- Create and maintain documentation and process for supply into PPAP and AS9100 projects
- Manage continuous improvement activities within DMC
All of these should be familiar to you but you may not necessarily hold complete autonomy over these currently and that’s absolutely fine.
A strong passion or interest into Additive Manufacturing and New Technologies is a real advantage to the successful candidate.
