Are you a passionate Mechanical Design Engineer looking to elevate your career? My client is looking for both Junior and Experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to join their innovative team and contribute to exciting automotive projects. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will collaborate Across Teams, Develop initial designs and make adjustments to existing machinery, and generate comprehensive Bills of Materials for projects

Responsibilities: 

• Work alongside seasoned design engineers to prepare engineering drawings for BIW tooling manufacturing
• Participate in both internal and external project meetings
• Leverage your knowledge of manufacturing techniques to enhance project outcomes

Experience Required:

• Mechanical Design Background: Experience in fixturing, tooling, or machinery design, preferably in an automotive context
• Team Player: Able to smoothly integrate into our skilled team and contribute your expertise
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD software (CATIA V5 preferred, but training available for other platforms). Knowledge of NX and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Educational Background: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience: At least 2 years for junior roles; 6+ years for experienced candidates in a design office environment
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to produce and understand detailed technical drawings
