Pre-Construction Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Pre-Construction Manager to be part of our growing business. The ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help build a market leading brand.
Highly skilled at sales and business operations, this person will join and jointly inspire a team of like-minded individuals to achieve our company vision.
This individual must be prepared to work in our Central London showroom and an understanding of the London construction market is key.
Your main duties will include the following, please note the following list is not exhaustive.
- Manage both our existing sales pipeline in terms of projects and develop new business opportunities for a rolling 12 to 18 months ahead
- Understand the Main Contractor & Fit Out tendering process
- Manage and move projects through the pipeline stages from pre-planning to tender stage.
- Take a lead role in the development of proposal submissions with the Estimating team through to project win stage
- Support deal review structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
- Network with related businesses and foster B2B relationships
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
- Winning/closing of projects based on maximising GP
- Managing CRM input daily
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
The progression opportunity for this role would be to become a Specification Manager or a Pre-Construction Manager, working in London on a daily basis.
Skills & Competency:
- Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation. Previous experience working in a similar environment would be a huge advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working experience with sales techniques
- Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and planning
- Ability to use and understand CRM systems.
- Personable, presentable, and articulate
- Commercial awareness
- Able to work on your own.
- Ability to work within deadlines and cope under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and team-working skills.
- Maintaining a consistent and dedicated approach throughout project life cycle.
