Our client, a renowned UK supplier of bearings and precision engineering components. They use the latest production-volume 3D printing technology to create complex components and support the innovation process in some of the world’s most fast-paced, disruptive, and critical industries. We are currently seeking an Additive Manufacturing technician to join the rapidly expanding 3D printing division, located in Abingdon. The primary responsibilities of this role will involve supporting production and maintenance activities to ensure the division achieves its growth objectives while consistently delivering high-quality 3D printed parts to meet customer expectations. This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to start within the 3D printing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of industry-standard production 3D printing equipment, from printing to post-processing to achieve expected lead times
• Assembly and inspection of printed parts to meet customers’ standards
• Adhere to necessary workplace disciplines and safety procedures

Minimum requirements:

• Foundation in science, math, and English
• Passion for 3D printing or willingness to learn the process
• Good degree of manual dexterity
• Ability to multi-task
• Basic computer literacy – Microsoft office, excel
• Be able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is a plus
