This global business of 500 people onsite is a Tier 1 supplier in the automotive industry who supply wingmirrors and internal vision systems for the likes of Toyota, JLR, Nissan, Volvo and some Mclaren vehicles. This company are looking for a CNC Programmer to work on one offs, small batches and prototypes and be responsible for programming a range of CNC machines (3 & 5 axis), ensuring efficient production, quality output, and adherence to safety and organisational standards.

Responsibilities: 

• Manufacture of jigs and fixtures to support all areas of the business
• Online and offline CAM programming (Heidenhain & Siemens controllers)
• 3 Axis CNC Milling
• 5 Axis CNC Milling
• CNC Turning
• Manufacture injection mould tooling and components
• Modify Injection mould tools, including electrode manufacture, producing job sheets and work instructions
• CAD designing, to include from scratch models and modifying existing 3D CAD models.

Experience Required:

• Previous machining experience
• All workshop practices
• CAD and CAM
• 3 and 5 Axis VMC
• Knowledge of programming 3 Axis VMC & 5 Axis VMC, Heidenhain controllers and setting and operating CNC machines
