Job Responsibilities:

  • Review electrical offers at tender stage for wind farms, battery storage, solar and building works.
  • Manage the development of the electrical offer with specialists.
  • Provide expert assessments on programme and price.
  • Challenge the proposal for robustness.
  • Ensure technical and commercial clarifications are captured.
  • Highlight the risks involved with the subcontracts.
  • Provide electrical support on live projects across the business.
  • Review and challenge programmes and claims.
  • Monitor performance at a management level.
  • Carryout regular feedback sessions with our supply chain to ensure continuous improvement.

Experience Required:

  • HND or above in electrical/electronic discipline or relevant experience.
  • Microsoft Office competent and have knowledge or be willing to learn CRM systems and their benefit.
  • Experienced in managing projects including working to tight timescales throughout the project life cycle.
  • Integration of robotics and automation solutions.
  • Experience in identifying and reporting long and short-term project resource requirements.
  • Experience of working in a challenging and fast paced workplace and being creative in providing solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of robot programs, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all robotic systems and automation processes comply with safety regulations and standards. Implement risk assessments and safety protocols to mitigate hazards.
  • Should be effective in planning, setting up goals and objectives.
  • Be able to handle pressure to agreed timelines / targets.
  • Management of subcontract resources to ensure timely delivery of project requirements to expected quality and technical standards.
  • Cleary document and communicate any concerns or correction actions required through the life cycle of the project to successful delivery.
  • Competent in communication and writing skills including the ability to convey at a detailed level with other stakeholders.
  • Communicate expectations/goals within the team.  
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and automation specialists to integrate systems into the automation process seamlessly.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with project managers to define project milestones, timelines, and deliverables related to robot programming and automation. Provide regular updates on project progress and performance.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
