My client is looking for a Product Manager to help the company envision, evolve and mature their hardware and software products. This role bridges the gap between teams of different expertise such as Hardware & Software Development, Sales, Support & Marketing,

Year on year they are expanding and improving their market solutions through the addition of new sensors, software and fusion techniques,  This global business is a testing company and specialise within the automotive, autonomy and survey/mapping industry where quality is key.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with customers, stakeholders and leaders to set the vision for your market area of focus
• Create, review and present market and financial analysis, business use cases and new product visions to internal stakeholders
• Participate in customer calls and visits to understand customer needs. Supporting the Commercial team and Solutions team in their discovery, evaluation and delivery of new business opportunities
• Determining explicit and implicit customer needs, and translating them into product requirements
• Generate, maintain and present product road-maps that help our solutions grow, evolve and own the spaces in which they are launched
• Give product direction and leadership as part of project teams to achieve company and product goals

Experience Required:

• Experience in technology and product management / development
• You will have experience in market analysis that will allow you to identify new market opportunities and gaps where their technology can bring value to customers
• You understand the importance of building product value proposition that communicates the strength of your visions to rest of the company and empower their sales and marketing teams with this knowledge
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Track record of fostering cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design, marketing, sales and other departments

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with Inertial devices (IMUs), GNSS or similar technologies
• Experience the fields or Automotive Testing, Autonomous Driving, Robotics or Aerospace.
• A business degree / MBA
