About this position:
We are working with a local Audio-Visual company based in the heart Reading, and only a 20-minute walk from the central station. One of Reading’s leading AV businesses, who have been going since 1999 and continue to hold their outstanding reputation.
They are a small tightknit team, with longstanding employees and they are now looking to add to this with an experience AV Senior BDM.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across various sectors, focusing on AV and IT solutions.
- Engage with key decision-makers, including IT Directors, Facilities Managers, and contractors, to understand their needs and propose tailored AV solutions.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring that they are positioned as the preferred supplier for all AV-related needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement account-specific campaigns and initiatives.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to enhance there visibility and brand presence.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the AV’s product and service offerings.
- Work closely with technical teams to design and propose solutions that meet client needs and align with there capabilities.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the AV sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience working with office fit-out companies, contractors, and IT teams is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of AV products and solutions.
